A La Equestrian....

{Top Shop skinny pants, Ralph Lauren riding boots, Zara blouse, Vest (oldie), Vince Camuto bangle, Ray Ban-tortoiseshell, MK watch and bag}

First of all ladies and gents, we made it through another week! Thank your god we had this Memorial Day vacation, with celebrations of the 75th anniversary of our G.G. to get us through this work week. Best firework show I've ever seen. Very hollywood.

Anyhow, moving on. You know when you're a kid and you have tendencies to dress up like your favorite superhero? I.e. the little kid who squeezes into his felt/polyester batman costume (so your pores can't even breath) to feel or 'be' in character? Well I think that was kind of me this morning, with my secret, unfulfilled, desire to have been a jockey in this life (except my pores could breath; thank goodness). Anyhow, I didn't become a jockey, but my outfit sure was convincing. Very a la Ralph Lauren.
{Okay because it's my new love for the moment, this bag will continue to make its debut}

Thank you for taking the time to read! :) End of May, and welcome to June!

Cooler days = Slate Blue Inspirations

{Alexander McQueen headpiece and coat. Photo by Richard Burbridge.}

The color blue can evoke a lot of different feelings. For me it creates a sense of serenity and calmness, but it's ironic that the majority find it to be one of the least appetizing colors (it's what I've heard). I just think they're not picking the "right" shade of blue.

Today I'm inspired by slate blue (a sexy color I would say) because the weather has become much cooler here in S.F., .....BUT if you're in a hot location, well, this ensemble of blue items should help cool you down, or just simply exalt your senses. Your pick. ;)

Kearsley. Made with Love and Attention.

{Kearsley was chosen by Boat International for Best of the Best 2012}
A million words rush to mind when I think of Kearsley Couture linens. Aside from being probably thee most amazing linens I've ever felt, the line itself stands for integrity. They are not only luxurious, hand crafted, custom to anyone's needs, but most importantly, are probably one of the fewest Eco-conscious brands that exist today.

Heather Kearsley Wolf, founder and lead designer, is very hands on with every aspect and detail of her line. And why not right? Coming from generations and generations of weavers and sewers, Heather has mastered the art, and knows how it should be done.

I've had the privilege to meet Heather and her wonderful team, for a lecture she gave last week at our gallery, educating people on the importance of what it really means to own fine linens while being fully aware of what we are buying, and from where (where being the keyword).

“We believe that luxury linens should be truly responsible to the earth and the people making them, as well as enhance the lives of those who are fortunate enough to enjoy them.”-HKW

She is now collaborating at Candace Barnes and we are thrilled to be representing her work.

13 years and going, Kearsley Couture continues to succeed in providing exquisite eco-conscious refined linens. Everything we want to stand for.

{That's Heather. Very hands-on....photo credit: Kearsley}

Fun fact Heather's father shared with me: You spend 33% of your lifetime in bed. Something to really think about when wondering why you should splurge on bed linens.

Jewel Tone Weekend

When there's perfect weather here, the last thing I want to do is spend too much time indoors getting ready, but rather go sit outside and enjoy my coffee, and discover what is going on in S.F. that weekend. Therefore I quickly pulled together a casual look dressed up by this darling bib necklace, which pretty much inspired the rest of the look.

My choice of colours? Jewel tones. Which turned out to be fitting with the day's theme.

Somewhere Over the...Bridge.

 {Joe Jeans, Zara sweater, J.Crew white blouse, MK watch, MK bag, Nine West flats, gifted pashmina scarf.}

It's always refreshing to leave the city for a day and drive over the bridge to enjoy the fresh greenery Mill Valley has to offer.

What's more is that it's May and it's still very chilly out (which I myself prefer). But that doesn't mean you can't wear "warm" summer clothing without looking like you're in the middle of winter. Just throw in vanilla accents to your wardrobe.

Enjoy your Friday!
{Love the gold tips on these}

Happy Mother's Day to all you amazing moms!
I went to Mill Valley and made a day of it with my mom. It was a beautiful day for many reasons.... :)

Good Things.

{Getting a special card}

I'm happy to have another "Good Things". For those of you just reading; I have a section, or shall I say a running dedicated post/title, that relates to good things that happen that give you that warm feeling. Kind of hard to describe right? I'm sure you know the feeling...

Over the past week I've had a lot of those. With my birthday that just passed, and Cinco de Mayo (within the same week), to my sister visiting and having all my good friends over to celebrate.
